Support Worker


 

The White Horse Care Trust are seeking experienced Support Workers to join us at our new exceptional service, that will be located in Royal Wootton Bassett. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone with Heath Care experience, we are seeking individuals who are kind, caring and compassionate and who are able to recognise the uniqueness of all the individuals we support.

We are seeking to appoint Complex Care Support Workers (Positive Behaviour Support Workers) to support two gentlemen with complex care requirements, you will need some experience of working with and understanding Autism, some health care knowledge, previous training in Positive Behaviour Strategies i.e Nappi, or similar and be a car owner/driver.

The gentlemen you will be working with would like people who are calm, confident and have a supportive nature. They would like their team to encourage and support them to engage in a variety of activities within the community, such as walks, going for a drive, days out and to attend a variety of music and singing events. The two gentlemen have moved from other locations within the Trust.

Within this role, you’ll be working in the home to support the gentlemen with personal care, mobility support, assistance with meals, medication, some health care support, and any additional support that they may require. Applicants should be able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and some bank holidays, along with sleep ins when required.

Part-time hours: 30 per week

Salary: £12.92-£13.50 per hour
