Female Support Worker


 

Six ladies who Dimensions support at their home in the Cippenham area of Slough would like some new Female Support Workers to join the team who enable them to live an independent life.

The ladies who are aged in their 40's-60's, and are have learning disabilities, enjoy a full and varied life. They would be happy to meet either full or part-time Female Support Workers who would like to get involved in activities such as:

  • Going out for meals in town.
  • Music sessions at home with visiting local musicians.
  • Dance sessions.
  • Days out shopping.
  • Visiting Thames Valley Adventure Playground.
  • Pampering sessions including manicures and pedicures.

These ladies would like you to know that although they don't all use words to communicate, they can understand you and have a variety of ways of telling you what they want. If you have not had to communicate with people in this way before do not worry as Dimensions provide all Relief Female Support Workers with full training.

The ladies would be happy to meet either full or part-time Female Support Workers. There are a variety of shifts available with the earliest starting at 07.15 and the latest finishing at 22.00. Female Support Workers will also need to work 1 sleep-in shift per week.

Dimensions are happy to offer a payrate of £11.22 per hour. (Sleep-in shifts are paid at an allowance of £45 per shift).

Female Support Workers will also have to assist with finances, meal preparation and assist the ladies with their personal care.

Other important information:
