Warehouse Operative - Temp to Perm
Morgan King Industrial are partnered with a well known home furnishings distribution company. Due to expansion they are looking to add a Warehouse Operatives to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis within the Picking department
Shift pattern / Working hours / Pay:
- Monday - Friday
- 7:00am - 16:00pm
- £10.70 per hour
Job description - Warehouse Operative:
- Picking orders in line with processes and order requirements
- Ensuring all products and packaging comply with quality control standards before being dispatched
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, by hand or with a forklift truck
- Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse
- Taking goods to the appropriate storage space – perhaps using loading and lifting gear for heavy goods,
- Continuously carrying out quality control checks throughout handling goods in, picking, packing and dispatching processes
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by ensuring a high standard of housekeeping and adhering to health and safety policies and procedures at all time
Must have own safety boots
