Our Glasgow Hospital Maintenance team currently have an internal opportunity for a site based Fabric Maintenance Technician -Handyman.
The opportunity:
The role is a dynamic opportunity to join the maintenance team supporting the Hospital resident engineers and associated Hospital management team with associated activities and small scale projects supporting our building repairs / refurbishment activity. The role is primarily fabric based activity and related skill base.
As a Fabric Maintenance Technician-Handyman, you will:
Have a good knowledge of facilities based maintenance
Have a proactive approach to task / resolution management
Working within a team to tight deadlines
Self motivated/Self reliant
Have a flexible approach to core working hours (out of hours/weekends required)
Are IT literate
The person:
Good knowledge of facilities based maintenance regimes and technics
Proven track record with construction based industry.
Good knowledge of Health and Safety preferably holding SSSTS or equivalent qualification.
