Due to such a high demand, Classroom Support are excited to be working with large number of schools in the Bromley area who are looking to recruit several specialists SEN Teaching Assistants to start in September on a long-term supply basis.
The schools have large SEN provisions to support children with ASD, Sensory Processing Difficulties and PMLD. The provision environment can at times be incredibly challenging in terms of behaviour.
The positions will start on a temporary basis with the option of going permanent after a set number of weeks working with the school through Classroom Support.
It is advantageous if you have some of the below experience:

- Experience of supporting children/young adults with challenging behaviour
- A keen understanding of being able to create bonds with pupils that struggle to engage
- Worked within a Mainstream or SEN school setting within the past 24 months
- Being of a firm nature when necessary but kind and caring as a person
- Experience supporting children with ASD or ADHD
The rate of pay is £80 - £85 per day for the right candidates. Temp to perm options after 12 academic weeks working through Classroom Support.
You must be able to commit to the working hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm. Monday to Friday.
Have already or be willing to pay for an Enhanced DBS for children.
