Shred Tech UK are the UK hub of an expanding international group with a friendly, supportive team building Mobile Document Shredding Trucks.
We require an experienced fabricator / welder to build sub frames and other components.
Personal Qualities:
- TIG/MIG/Coded
- Weld and fabricate metal components to a high standard and meet our Head Office set quality standards.
- Ability to work independently.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings with a variety of weld symbols.
- Must be fully conversant with using hand tools in line with health and safety procedures
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent time keeping and good communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Full driving licence

Key Skills and Experience:
- MIG welding fabricated parts in accordance with engineering drawings.
- Previous MIG welding experience is essential.
- Experience with a range of welding techniques, sections and thickness's ranging from 2mm to 10mm
- Fabrication of steel products using workshop equipment.
- Tig welding experience.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous forklift experience

Salary: £13.50-£16.00 per hour
