Job Title: Healthcare Assistant
Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to patients under the supervision of healthcare professionals
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times
- Help patients with eating and drinking, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
- Document patient information accurately and timely
Experience:
- Previous experience as a healthcare assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and empathetic towards patients' needs
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
